We have, in association with British Cycling, a gentle led ride every Sunday morning at 10am (please arrive at 9:50am for registration) from Kingstanding Wellbing Centre, Dulwich Rd, Kingstanding, B44 0ER.
The rides are ideal for beginners/returners, being up to 6 miles and using quiet roads, cycle paths and parks. At the moment they are adult only (16+). Bikes are available to use.
Booking is essential – to book a place please either call 0121 464 1020 before 3pm during the week and ask about “Kingstanding Ride Active ride”, or to sign up on line at: goto https://www.letsride.co.uk , type “B44 0ER” into the box, press the search image and scroll down to the next “Ride Active – Kingstanding” then sign up.
“Kingstanding WBC”: Kingstanding Wellbing Centre, Dulwich Rd, Kingstanding, B44 0ER. Meet by the shipping container in the car park.
We offer shorter, confidence building rides as part of our Learn to Ride programme which takes place during the summer months on Monday evenings. These rides are for people who have booked a place on a Learn to Ride course.
These rides are open to all, so if you feel like a slightly more challenging ride (our rides are normally between 10 and 30 miles… but at a relaxed pace and we don’t leave anyone behind) please do come along.
Our rides depart at 10am, but please arrive 15mins before so that we can check bikes. There is no need to book on the ride each week. Until further notice we do not have bikes available to hire from Wyndley or Paget starts.
. Longer rides are listed under the Easy Riders section of our website.
